Established in 1898, Leo G. Stein & Co. originally sold tools and machinery to tanneries throughout the United States. Shortly after World War II, leather was added to the picture with most of the leather aimed at the orthotic and prosthetic trade.
Today, Leo G. Stein & Co. is a distributor of numerous products serving many trades; including, the orthotic & prosthetic profession, contract sewing industry, garment and biker manufacturers. Founded in 1898, we are in our second century of providing quality products at competitive prices!
We are importers of our own brand of hook & loop fasteners - including, sew on and self stick tapes, coins and ultrasonically welded hook/loop straps. We also stock VELCRO® brand tapes if you prefer the name brand product. In addition, we also stock: webbings, sewing thread, carbon braid and a wide range of leather to name just a few of our other products.
